Michelle is A Board Certified Physical Therapist in California. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine and afterwards completed a Multiple Subjects Credential in teaching. she then taught elementary school for 3 years. However, she decided this was not her true calling and returned back to school and graduated from California State Long Beach with a Masters in Physical Therapy. After working a year at a private practice she returned for more education and completed an Orthopedic Residency Program with Kaiser Permanente. She has been working as a PT for over 13 years now. She also, has several holistic practice certifications, including certifications as a Reiki Facilitator, Soul Memory Facilitator, and a certified Emotion / Body Code Practitioner.
Michelle is skilled in seeing the “Big Picture” and often emphasizes movement re-training to decrease pain AND prevent it after returning to sport/ activities. Michelle believes it is important to educate each individual about the movement patterns they use in daily life that are affecting their impairments and pain.
